A five-year-old girl who was killed when a gate fell on her at her home has today been remembered as a beautiful child with a big bow in her hair and sparkly shoes who lit up the life of her family.
Sienna Joyce was hit by the falling gate on Monday but passed away later in hospital when her injuries proved devastating.
She was out playing with her little cousins at her home at Wotton Bridge, Bullstown, The Ward between Finglas and Ashbourne when the tragedy happened.
She was rushed to Temple Street Children's Hospital, where she later died.
Sienna, who had been attending Kilcoskan National School in The Ward in her first year, was part of a large settled Travelling family living in the area.
Her funeral took place today at the Church of the Annunciation in Finglas, where the aisles were lined with balloons featuring the characters of her favourite Disney movie Frozen.
